Employee engagement has become a critical factor influencing organizational success in today's competitive business environment. Organizations increasingly recognize that engaged employees contribute to higher productivity, improved customer satisfaction, stronger innovation, and long-term business sustainability. Employee engagement extends beyond job satisfaction and reflects employees' emotional commitment, motivation, and willingness to contribute toward organizational goals. This review paper examines the relationship between employee engagement and organizational productivity by exploring key engagement drivers, leadership influence, organizational culture, employee well-being, and performance management. The paper also discusses common barriers to employee engagement and provides recommendations for improving workplace commitment. The findings suggest that organizations investing in employee development, effective communication, recognition systems, and supportive leadership achieve better organizational performance and competitive advantage. Employee engagement should therefore be considered a strategic management priority for sustainable business growth.
