Jana Nexus: Journal of Business and Management Studies follows a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality and credible research.
Peer Review Model
The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential. This ensures impartiality, fairness, and objectivity in the evaluation process.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ recommendations.
Review Process
- Initial Screening:
The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for scope, originality, formatting, and plagiarism. - Reviewer Assignment:
Suitable reviewers are assigned based on their expertise and research background. - Peer Review:
Reviewers assess the manuscript on the basis of originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field. - Decision and Feedback:
Authors receive one of the following decisions:- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
- Revision Stage:
Authors are required to revise the manuscript based on reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified time. - Final Decision:
The Editor-in-Chief reviews the revised manuscript and makes the final decision for publication.
Guidelines for Reviewers
- Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript.
- Provide objective, constructive, and unbiased feedback.
- Evaluate the manuscript based on academic merit and ethical standards.
- Identify relevant literature not cited by the authors.
- Declare any conflicts of interest and decline the review if necessary.
- Submit the review within the agreed timeframe.
