Correction and Withdrawal Policy

Jana Nexus: Journal of Business and Management Studies is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. The journal follows a transparent process for handling corrections, withdrawals, and retractions when necessary.

Corrections (Erratum / Corrigendum)

If errors are identified in a published article that do not significantly affect the results or conclusions, the journal will publish a correction notice:

  • Erratum: Issued for errors introduced during the publication process by the journal.
  • Corrigendum: Issued for errors made by the authors.

Corrections will be clearly linked to the original article and made freely accessible.

Article Withdrawal (Before Publication)

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript before publication by submitting a formal written request stating valid reasons.

  • Withdrawal requests are subject to editorial approval.
  • If the manuscript is under review or in production, withdrawal may be restricted or may require justification.
  • Unethical or unjustified withdrawal may lead to restrictions on future submissions.

Retraction (After Publication)

An article may be retracted if:

  • There is clear evidence of plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification
  • Ethical violations or misconduct are identified
  • Duplicate publication is detected
  • Significant errors invalidate the findings

Retraction notices will be published and clearly linked to the original article, which will remain accessible with a retraction watermark or statement.

Replacement and Updates

In rare cases, a corrected version of the article may be published if substantial revisions are required while maintaining transparency about the changes made.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are expected to promptly notify the journal if they discover significant errors in their published work and cooperate with the editorial team to correct or retract the article if necessary.

Editorial Responsibility

The editorial team will investigate all reported issues carefully and take appropriate action in accordance with ethical publishing standards.
