Manuscript Preparation And Formatting

Jana Nexus: Journal of Business and Management Studies

Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s formatting and structural guidelines to ensure consistency, clarity, and ease of review. Manuscripts that do not follow these guidelines may be returned for correction prior to review.


General Formatting Guidelines

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12 (main text), 14 bold (headings)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Text Alignment: Justified
  • Page Numbers: Bottom center or bottom right

Manuscript Structure

Authors should organize their manuscript in the following sequence:

  • Title of the Paper
  • Author(s) Name and Affiliation
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (4–6 keywords)
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review (if applicable)
  • Methodology
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgment (if applicable)
  • References

Title Page

The title page should include:

  • Full title of the manuscript
  • Name(s) of author(s)
  • Institutional affiliation(s)
  • Corresponding author’s email address

Abstract and Keywords

  • The abstract should briefly summarize the purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusion of the study
  • Provide 4–6 relevant keywords for indexing and searchability

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be clearly numbered (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1)
  • Each table/figure should have a descriptive title
  • They must be placed at appropriate positions within the manuscript
  • Ensure high-quality and readable figures

Referencing Style

The journal follows APA (7th Edition) referencing style. Authors must ensure that:

  • All in-text citations are properly referenced
  • The reference list is complete and formatted consistently

Language and Clarity

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. Authors are encouraged to ensure proper proofreading before submission.
