Jana Nexus: Journal of Business and Management Studies is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism in any form.

Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes the use of another author’s work, ideas, data, or words without proper acknowledgment. It also includes self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and improper citation.

Screening Process
All submitted manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection software. The editorial team evaluates similarity reports before initiating the peer review process.

Acceptable Limits

  • Manuscripts with minor similarity (generally below 10–15%) may be considered after proper revision and citation.
  • Similarity beyond acceptable limits may lead to immediate rejection.

Forms of Plagiarism

  • Direct copying of text without citation
  • Paraphrasing without proper acknowledgment
  • Duplicate or redundant publication
  • Use of data, figures, or tables without permission

Author Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that their submissions are original and properly cite all sources. Proper quotation marks, references, and acknowledgments must be included wherever required.

Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage, the journal will take appropriate action, including:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript
  • Retraction of published articles
  • Notification to the author’s institution
  • Restriction or ban on future submissions

Post-Publication Checks
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and notify relevant authorities.
