Workforce diversity has become a strategic asset for organizations operating in an increasingly globalized and competitive business environment. Diverse workforces bring together individuals with different cultural backgrounds, experiences, skills, perspectives, and problem-solving approaches, creating opportunities for greater creativity and innovation. Organizations that effectively manage diversity can enhance collaboration, improve decision-making, stimulate knowledge sharing, and strengthen their capacity to develop innovative products, services, and business processes. However, diversity also presents managerial challenges related to communication, inclusion, conflict management, and organizational culture. This review paper examines the relationship between workforce diversity and organizational innovation by discussing diversity dimensions, inclusive leadership, knowledge management, employee engagement, digital collaboration, and innovation performance. The paper also identifies challenges in managing diverse teams and provides recommendations for developing inclusive workplaces that support sustainable innovation. The findings indicate that organizations embracing workforce diversity and inclusion achieve stronger innovation capability, higher employee satisfaction, improved organizational performance, and greater long-term competitiveness.
