Abstract
Digital transformation has fundamentally changed how organizations operate, compete, and create value. Rapid technological advancements, changing customer expectations, and global competition have encouraged businesses to adopt digital leadership strategies that support innovation and organizational performance. Digital leadership involves integrating technology with strategic decision-making, organizational culture, and employee development to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. This review paper explores the relationship between digital leadership and organizational performance by examining leadership competencies, technological innovation, employee engagement, organizational agility, and strategic decision-making. The paper also discusses major implementation challenges, including resistance to change, cybersecurity risks, digital skill shortages, and infrastructure limitations. Findings indicate that organizations with effective digital leadership are better positioned to improve productivity, enhance customer satisfaction, encourage innovation, and maintain long-term business sustainability. The study concludes that continuous leadership development and investment in digital capabilities are essential for future organizational success.
