Employee engagement has emerged as a critical factor influencing organizational productivity, innovation, and long-term business success. In today's competitive business environment, organizations increasingly recognize that engaged employees contribute more effectively to organizational goals through higher motivation, commitment, creativity, and collaboration. Employee engagement extends beyond job satisfaction by fostering emotional attachment, active participation, and alignment with organizational objectives. Organizations that invest in employee engagement initiatives experience improved operational efficiency, lower employee turnover, stronger customer satisfaction, and enhanced financial performance. This review paper examines the influence of employee engagement on organizational productivity by discussing engagement theories, leadership practices, organizational culture, performance management, employee well-being, digital workplace technologies, and strategic human resource management. The paper also identifies implementation challenges and offers recommendations for building an engaged workforce. The findings suggest that organizations promoting meaningful employee engagement achieve sustainable productivity improvements and strengthen their competitive position in the global business environment.
